My mom and I talk about fashion and shopping a lot. She's into clothes and is always interested in learning about the latest styles, given my role as an editor. It's also worth noting that we tend to like similar items and trends despite our age difference (I'm 34, and she's 63). However, it's not surprising we gravitate toward similar pieces since age really has nothing to do with what you should or shouldn't wear.

On one of her recent visits, I showed her a few outfit ideas as well as the spring and summer trends I love and plan on recommending across my stories. My mom then mentioned the trends she liked best from my list. In the end, there were five summer trends we both agreed were cool, chic, and easy to follow.
