Thanks, It's New: 30 Items Our Editors Added to Their Closets This Month

Is anyone in need of some shopping inspiration? Well, nobody asked, but I'm certainly delivering anyway. With a dizzying number of new pieces hitting the market, it can be downright intimidating to peruse what's out there in the hopes of making a little wardrobe update. But that's where I come in, friends. On a typical day, I do some online browsing to highlight the very best shopping picks of the moment, so today, I'm taking it a step further by showing you what we're personally adding to our closets and including some inspirational outfit photos.

There's no doubt our editors are a stylish bunch. (I look to their Instagrams for my own style ideas.) So when I tell you these new tops, dresses, shoes, and bags are it, I think you'll agree. Keep scrolling for the new fashion favorites we added to our closets in April—from the modern update on classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers I can't stop wearing to Yusra's editor-adored Free People jeans and Eliza's runway-inspired Nordstrom buy. These are spring's top-notch picks, according to us.

Anna LaPlaca, Editor

Ray-Ban just came out with a supersized version of its iconic Wayfarer sunglasses, and it's the perfect modern touch on the classics. I just got mine, but I already know I'll be wearing them forever.

If you're looking for a thin sweater that layers easily but will actually keep you warm, this lightweight cashmere knit from Éterne is it. It's not wonder Hailey Bieber wears hers in brown multiple times a week.

People are shocked to know that this forward-feeling denim skirt is as affordable as it is. I happen to think it's a good alt to the Khaite one at about a fraction of the cost.

"I wore this swimsuit on my most recent trip to Miami, and I loved how full coverage it was. The chartreuse shade is incredible, and the ruching really elevated a simple one-piece. I'm ready to style this as a bodysuit under some linen trousers and a blazer this summer."

"During this time of year, you can never go wrong with a pair of lightweight white pants. I wore them as a cover-up for my swimsuit (pictured above) at the beach, but I'm definitely planning to wear them low-rise and baggy with a pair of strappy sandals and breezy button-down for that effortless vibe."

"Of all of the maxi skirts that have made it to my closet in the past few months (there have been plenty), this one is my favorite. It hits me right at the ankle and almost has a mermaid effect with a more puddled hemline. This skirt comes in eight other colors, and the silver is next on my list."

"This new DMY by DMY style is so chic and flattering. I wouldn't be surprised to see Kendall Jenner wearing them any day now, as she wears the brand's shades constantly."

"I don't know how, but I found this Khaite jacket on sale in my size recently, even though it's nearly sold out everywhere. I haven't stopped wearing it since it arrived—it's the coolest denim jacket I've ever owned, by far."

"I was in the market for a more fitted blazer since that's what's trending this season, and I landed on this Aritzia one. The quality and fit are amazing, and you can wear it with or without anything underneath."

Eliza Huber, Editor

"I got this button-down shirt a few weeks ago from Staud but hadn't found a chance to wear it until last week. I've worn it three times since. It's super thick and structured, which I love, and doesn't get easily wrinkled like most of my button-downs."

"Ever since I saw them in Tory Burch's fall show, I've been obsessed with styling fishnets in new, interesting ways."

Yusra Siddiqui, Associate Editor

"These Free People jeans are proof that we do buy from our fellow WWW editors' product recommendations. When our editorial director, Lauren, plugged these barrel jeans into our Slack channel, I knew I had to have them. In just a matter of two weeks, they've already become my most worn jean. Someone also asked me if they were Toteme, so that's an added bonus. Thanks, Lauren and FP."

"This is both a practical and fashionable find, but Béis's mini weekender bag has changed traveling for me. I'm always lugging a tote bag on my shoulder, so I love how this has a strap so it can easily slide over my carry-on. On my 14-hour flight, it fit every essential I needed, from books to lip balm."

Sierra Mayhew, Associate Editor

"When Bella Hadid has something, I have to have it too. These color-block loafers were a welcome change from my typical black shoes, and I got so many questions about where I got them from. If you want shoes that make a statement, these are it."

"You heard it here first: This dress is going to be everywhere this summer. It has everything that fashion people look for—a corset bodice, cotton poplin fabric, and a flared skirt. It's the ultimate vacation dress, and I felt like a princess wearing it while walking around sampling gelato in southern Spain."

"My search for the perfect white linen pants continues, and I just ordered this pair from Reformation. I look for a low-rise fit and a bit of a flare at the leg. These look super comfortable, and I can't wait to try them."

"This dress checks all of my boxes: It's strapless, bra-friendly, and flowy, and it has pockets. This dreamy chocolate brown is already sold out (sigh), but I'd snag one of the other eight options immediately."

Bobby Schuessler, Market Director

"Anine Bing is one of my go-to brands for sweatshirts and sweaters. This oversize knit is one that will live in a closet for years and years. Divine."

"I stopped by the Frame store when I visited L.A. recently and immediately gravitated toward these wide-leg distressed jeans. The fit is perfect, and I can't get enough of the wash."

"I had an appointment with a Nordstrom stylist recently, and he pulled these New Balance 550s for me. I love the granite color."

"Aside from my new New Balances, these investment sneakers are turning out to be my new everyday shoes. I actually got them on sale at Italist. They're comfortable and cool."

Natalie Gray Herder, Associate Editor, Branded Content

"Apparently, this cropped bomber from Zara has taken the internet by storm, and I'm pleased to confirm it's worth the hype. I'll be wearing it with everything from midi dresses to denim skirts as we transition to light-jacket weather."

"They were a bit of a splurge, but these sunnies will be in my collection forever. Round frames are a timeless choice for those who prefer smaller eyewear."

"While technically these are pajama pants, I'll be wearing them outside of my apartment all summer long. They're cute and comfortable and can stand up to the NYC heat."

"I've been wearing these jeans on repeat this season. They're the perfect relaxed, wide-leg fit and are really great quality. They go with absolutely everything in my wardrobe and feel altogether on-trend for spring 2023. I get asked about them a ton when I wear them!"

"I'm obsessed with these modern and unique pearl earrings from Austrian brand Bruna the Label. Whether I wear them with jeans and a tee or a slip dress, they elevate my outfits in an instant."

"I'm in a transition phase with my personal style, and I'm trying different styles to learn what feels most authentic to me. I loved that these jeans from Warp + Weft are wide leg, sustainable, and long enough for my 5'9" frame. They're so comfortable and have the coolest pocket detailing."

"A black racerback bra is a staple in any activewear wardrobe. This cut is universally flattering, and it's supportive without being constrictive. I suggest pairing this bra with the Airlift Shorts. You'll be the chicest person in your yoga class, guaranteed."
